We all know the phrase, “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” and that could not be more true for this flower shop. Don’t let the outside fool you — Dorothy, Jon, and their entire staff are true professionals. From the very first time I walked into Flower Person’s Fantasy Land, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about every flower and plant question I had. They have handled arrangements for my business functions, as well as the flower boxes at my home for both the summer and winter seasons, and everything has always come out amazing. Whether you are planning a wedding, hosting a small gathering, or simply looking for a beautiful arrangement for someone special, DO NOT sleep on this spot!!! In my opinion, this is the only destination for flowers for any occasion.

Hengstenberg’s created a gorgeous urn surround for a funeral service in less than a days notice on Mother’s Day weekend together with 2 incredible large Peace Lilies. They created a beautiful space for our loved one at a moment of great loss. Our heartfelt thanks

Lovely place! the staff is so kind and service is quick! ordered 60 mums and they were ready within a few hours! and its right before mothers day! thank you so much major major plus was the cat and the pup! will be going back for any of my floral needs :)

I ordered a birthday arrangement from their website last night for a very close friend of mine to have delivered. I always hesitate to order flowers online because the arrangements rarely look like the picture, but I'm familiar with this florist having passed it many times, and it also has an excellent reputation in Garden City. Based on that I decided to just go ahead and order. They did not disappoint! My friend called me today after they were delivered and said they were the most gorgeous flowers that she had ever seen! She sent me photos and honestly they were more beautiful than the photo on their website! Don't hesitate to use this florist. Highest quality and outstanding service! Thank you!

Dorothy and her team (including her dog, Holly, of course) did an outstanding job from start to finish with the flowers for both the rehearsal dinner and welcome reception for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding last week. It was a delight to work with Dorothy to "co-create" flowers for both the small rehearsal dinner and larger reception following. She was extremely clear in communicating what flowers would be available, go well together and creative in suggesting what would make sense for different settings. When I arrived in town for the wedding, I was able to meet Dorothy, discuss options with the flowers at hand and finalize plans in person. The end result was stunning! (They also did the flowers for the wedding which were gorgeous.) The delivery logistics were flawless and the warmth and care of their shop came through along with the beautiful flowers. I even brought some flowers home (across the country) and they still look fantastic a week and 3,000 miles later. Thank you, Dorothy and Hengstenberg's team!
